iPhone 5 Unveiling Date Confirmed on 21st September, Release Date: October?
Last year, the launch of iPhone 4S disappointed all Apple fans as everyone expecting iPhone 5 to come out. Since there are no major improvements from iPhone 4 to iPhone 4S, many custoemrs switched to Samsung. After a year, rumors say that its unveil will be held on 21st September and probably will go on sale in October.
With the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple has recently applied a special patent for its new product, people are now guessing iPhone 5 will have a slimmer screen that up to 4 inches, a little lighter in weight and it will come with a 19-pin connector port at the bottom instead of the proprietary 30-pin port.

Smarter Cable & dock Connector for iPhone 5
New design of the cable will included chips in each end of iPhone 5 cables to examine whether the device is Apple licensed. Obviously, third party phone accessory companies without a license will not be able to make iPhone 5 adaptable accessories as smart cable and dock connector could prevent hazards of using poorly built accessories. However, people with a stretching budget will not perceive this as good news.
iPhone 5 goes Water-proof & Thinner
The new dock connector of iPhone 5 will be designed as highly water-proof since smaller recessed port is less likely to suffer from a spill or splash than current design of iPhone 4. Besides, everyone is expecting a thinner iPhone 5 with a bigger screen compare to Samsung S series. Rumors suggest iPhone 5 will be under 8mm thin, wow, sounds iPhone 5 will have a really cool outlook!
